Nicola Kirkaldy ('83, The Netherlands) and Roosmarijn Mascini's ('85 The Netherlands) collaboration is based on similar interests in cultural and social structures and how these take shape in daily life. Their installations or sets play with the absurdity and the trivial appearance of the imagery world around them. In between these appearances they investigate the spontaneous and the organic. They often stay in one space for a longer period, in which the work develops itself in an intuitive and playful way and serves as a background for (live) actions and (video) registrations of any kind.
